Kirk Esmond is an organizational development (OD) consultant, specializing in small to mid-size companies and nonprofits.

He helps identify internal and external barriers, refine corporate culture, and improve organizational effectiveness. The net result of his work is effective solutions to complex marketing, communication and human capital challenges. Clients benefit from his pragmatic and strategic insight to enhance employee engagement and generate positive growth.

What sets Kirk apart is his ability to evaluate, refine and connect organizational culture, brand strategy and marketing communications.

  • As a trusted advisor to CEOs, strategic partner to CMOs, and development partner to managers; he engages techniques such as change management, brand research, strategic planning, training and facilitation, and content generation.  His work is widely influenced by the philosophies of the Kaizen Management Concept and brand minimalism, to craft tailor-made solutions grounded in reality and fact, rather than emotion or speculation.

  • Kirk is a guest speaker and educator for local and regional organizations.  As an advocate for purpose-driven, consistent and concise messaging, his work leads to long-lasting relationships.  To Kirk, organizational development is not just a profession, it's a way of thinking about the World around us.

  • His professional experience dates back to 1999.  However, his brand-sense runs even deeper. Having worked in corporate, agency and private consulting roles, Kirk weaves a cross-section of knowledge benefiting clients in various industries. As a Professional Certified Marketer, he empowers professional services, industry associations, and nonprofits — to engage customers, influence prospects and inspire employees. A lifelong self-starter, Kirk balances practicality with innovation in all engagements. 

  • He is the lead advisor for all client engagements. Kirk’s role is to oversee research and assessments, strategic brand development, and the implementation of communication tactics. He retains custom project teams, on an as needed basis, for market research, brand identity, copywriting, and production; all of whom have at least 15 years experience in their fields.

  • Kirk is a supporter of various philanthropic causes. He has served as the Development Committee Chair on the Board of Directors for Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus in Leavenworth, WA and Campaign Strategist for the EMS Levy to continue Emergency Medical Services in the Upper Wenatchee Valley’s hospital district. Kirk is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and Greater Wenatchee Area Technology Alliance (GWATA). Locally, Kirk serves his community as a Mayor-appointed member to the Planning Commission, and as an active board member for the youth summer swim team.

On a personal level, Kirk pushes the limits of his own comfort zone. He enjoys muscle-driven activities such as triathlons, hiking, MTB, and Nordic skiing.
